coral seas

taking hundreds of years to fully mature, coral reefs only grow from 5- 25 millimeters a year. coral is an animal that grows like a plant but is actually an animal. butterfly fish can live up to 10 years, in captivity, but in the wild they usually only live for 7.  butterfly fish spend most of their time eating coral, coral polyps, and small invertebrates. they work together either, providing food shelter and hygiene.

atoms molecules and seawater

when you first put the water in the ice trey, the water molecules are bouncing around/ off of each other like a crow that doesn't know which way to go. After a few minutes they start to wind down slower and slower till they come to a stand still. but even thought the ice looks frozen the molecules are always moving.

A polar bear is a big, fat, white bear that lives in the North Pole. They live along the north coast of Canada, Greenland, and Russia. They hunt seals for food. Polar bears have long bodies, necks, and heads. Older polar bears that are males are 8-11 feet long and they are up to 1,000 pounds. Adult females are about 6 feet long and weigh 4-500 pounds. Their white fur serves as camouflage when finding food. They can smell food that is 10 miles away.A polar bear is a very good swimmer which helps it to catch food.

39th parallel

On the 39th parallel i believe that there are 4 plates, "South American, Antarctic, Pacific and Nazca." If you start in Africa on the 39th and follow it east you will eventually hit Australia. The 39th between Africa and Australia, the pacific plate covers most of the miles.
as we get down to sea level things start to change. first land changes into sea, but thats not what we are looking at. the continental crust floats on top of the lithosphere, which is some of the hottest rock around. attached to the crust you have the shelf which slowly angles towards the oceanic crust.
